Somewhere along the line, a WordPress update seems to have messed up the RSS feeds for the podcasts so that it did not show earlier episodes. The problem’s been fixed! Especially if you’re a new listener to “2 Guys, a Girl, and a Goblin“, this is a chance to listen to the earlier episodes. It will take some time for iTunes to update, but the RSS feeds are working for your listening pleasure.

In last week’s episode, our intrepid heroes had entered a secret passage, which brought them face to face with the dreaded Balgron, an obese goblin of ill repute. We ended the episode with a cliffhanger, as Imizel stepped in and prepared to take a nasty critical hit, saving Ho’nai from almost certain doom. Before Balgron’s attack lands, however, Imizel gets a chance to attack him first, and we pick up with Aaron rolling his attack. Will he hit? How bad will the critical hit be? We’ll find out this week!

For this episode, we sat down with Justin Parker, aficionado of Shoot ’em Up games or “Shmups”. Justin knows a lot about Shmups and he’ll be hosting a panel this weekend on Shmups at RamenCon, a local anime convention. We talk about his history with Shmups and the history of the genre in general, plus we seemed to have tried to set a show record for how many times we can say the C word in a single episode. No really, it’s in there a lot, but we hope it’s not too offensive. Sammy got in on it, too, so hopefully the female imprimatur helps to take some of the sting out of it.
